1Yn adran 112(2A) o Ddeddf 1972 (cynghorau’n pennu telerau ac amodau staff uwch penodol), yn lle “heads of paid service” rhodder “chief executives”.

2Mae Deddf Cyllid Llywodraeth Leol 1988 wedi ei diwygio fel a ganlyn.

3Yn adran 114(3A) (prif swyddog cyllid yn ymgynghori wrth lunio adroddiadau)—

(a)ym mharagraff (a), ar ôl “Local Government and Housing Act 1989” mewnosoder “or, in the case of a Welsh county council or county borough council, the person who is for the time being appointed as the authority’s chief executive under section 54 of the Local Government and Elections (Wales) Act 2021”;

(b)ym mharagraff (b), yn lle “that Act” rhodder “the Local Government and Housing Act 1989”.

4Yn adran 114A(3) (prif swyddog cyllid yn ymgynghori wrth lunio adroddiadau pan fo cyngor yn gweithredu trefniadau gweithrediaeth)—

(a)ym mharagraff (a), ar ôl “Local Government and Housing Act 1989” mewnosoder “or, in the case of a Welsh county council or county borough council, the person who is for the time being appointed as the authority’s chief executive under section 54 of the Local Government and Elections (Wales) Act 2021”;

(b)ym mharagraff (b), yn lle “that Act” rhodder “the Local Government and Housing Act 1989”.

5Mae Deddf Llywodraeth Leol a Thai 1989 wedi ei diwygio fel a ganlyn.

6Yn adran 1 (anghymhwyso swyddogion a staff penodol a chyfyngiadau gwleidyddol arnynt), ar ôl is-adran (1) mewnosoder—

(1A)A person shall be disqualified from becoming (whether by election or otherwise) or remaining a member of any local authority in Wales if that person holds the post of chief executive of a local authority which is the council of a county or county borough in Wales.

7Yn adran 2 (swyddi o dan gyfyngiadau gwleidyddol)—

(a)ar ôl is-adran (1) mewnosoder—

(1A)For the purposes of this Part other than section 1(1), a person appointed as the chief executive of a local authority which is the council of a county or county borough in Wales is to be regarded as holding a politically restricted post under that authority.;

(b)yn is-adran (7)(a) a (b), ar ôl “head of the authority’s paid service” yn y ddau le y mae’n digwydd, mewnosoder “or (in the case of a council for a county or county borough in Wales) the authority’s chief executive”.

8Yn adran 4(6) (diffiniad o “relevant authority”)—

(a)ym mharagraff (a), hepgorer “and Wales”;

(b)ar ôl paragraff (a) (ac o flaen yr “and” sy’n ei ddilyn) mewnosoder—

(aa)in relation to Wales, means an elected local policing body;.

9Yn adran 5 (dynodi swyddog monitro ac adroddiadau ganddo)—

(a)yn is-adran (1B)—

(i)hepgorer “and Wales”;

(ii)hepgorer paragraff (b);

(b)ar ôl is-adran (1B) mewnosoder—

(1BA)The officer designated under subsection (1)(a) above by a relevant authority which is the council of a county or county borough in Wales may not be the authority’s chief executive.;

(c)yn is-adran (3)(a), ar ôl “chief finance officer” mewnosoder “or, in the case of a council of a county or county borough in Wales, with the person who is for the time being the authority’s chief executive and with their chief finance officer”.

10Yn adran 5A(5) (swyddog monitro yn ymgynghori ar adroddiadau pan fo cyngor yn gweithredu trefniadau gweithrediaeth), ym mharagraff (a) ar ôl “chief finance officer” mewnosoder “or, in the case of a council of a county or county borough in Wales, with the person who is for the time being the authority’s chief executive and with their chief finance officer”.

11Yn adran 21 (dehongli Rhan 1), yn is-adran (3) o flaen y diffiniad o “contravention” mewnosoder—

  • “chief executive” means the person appointed under section 54 of the Local Government and Elections (Wales) Act 2021 as the chief executive of a council of a county or county borough in Wales;.

14Yn adran 9(4) (swyddogaethau pennaeth gwasanaethau democrataidd), yn lle’r geiriau o “pennaeth gwasanaeth cyflogedig” hyd at y diwedd rhodder “prif weithredwr yn adran 54(2) o Ddeddf Llywodraeth Leol ac Etholiadau (Cymru) 2021”.

15Yn adran 143A (swyddogaethau Panel Annibynnol Cymru ar Gydnabyddiaeth Ariannol mewn cysylltiad â chydnabyddiaeth ariannol prif weithredwyr)—

(a)yn is-adran (1)(a) a (b), yn lle “pennaeth gwasanaeth cyflogedig” rhodder “prif weithredwr”;

(b)yn is-adran (3), yn lle “pennaeth ei wasanaeth cyflogedig” rhodder “ei brif weithredwr”;

(c)yn is-adran (3B), yn lle “bennaeth gwasanaeth cyflogedig” rhodder “brif weithredwr”;

(d)yn is-adran (5A)(a), yn lle “bennaeth gwasanaeth cyflogedig” rhodder “brif weithredwr”;

16Yn adran 75 o Ddeddf Diwygio’r Heddlu a Chyfrifoldeb Cymdeithasol 2011 (y swyddog priodol ar gyfer ardal heddlu)—

(a)yn is-adran (2), yn lle “in relation to any such police area, means the head of paid service of the local authority designated for that police area” rhodder means—

(a)in relation to a police area in England, the head of paid service of the local authority designated for that police area;

(b)in relation to a police area in Wales, the chief executive of the local authority designated for that police area.;

(b)yn is-adran (3)—

(i)o flaen y diffiniad o “local authority” mewnosoder—

  • “chief executive” means the person appointed by a county council or county borough council in Wales under section 54 of the Local Government and Elections (Wales) Act 2021;;

(ii)yn y diffiniad o “head of paid service”, ar ôl “a council” mewnosoder “in England”.

17Yn adran 43(2) o Ddeddf Lleoliaeth 2011 (diffiniad o “chief officer” at ddibenion datganiadau ar bolisïau tâl)—

(a)ar ôl paragraff (a) mewnosoder—

(aa)its chief executive appointed under section 54 of the Local Government and Elections (Wales) Act 2021 (chief executive of council in Wales);;

18Yn adran 77 o Ddeddf Ymddygiad Gwrthgymdeithasol, Troseddu a Phlismona 2014 (cyfnod para hysbysiadau sy’n gwahardd mynediad at fangreoedd penodol), yn lle is-adran (6) rhodder—

(6)In this section “chief executive officer” means—

(a)in relation to a local authority in England, the authority’s head of paid service designated under section 4 of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989;

(b)in relation to a local authority in Wales, the authority’s chief executive appointed under section 54 of the Local Government and Elections (Wales) Act 2021.
