This Act may be cited as the Treatment of Offenders Act (Northern Ireland)1968.

This section shall come into operation on the passing of this Act.

F1 The provisions of this Act, other than this section, shall come into operation on such day or days as may be appointed by order made by the Minister.

Where an order is made under subsection (3) with respect to any provision of this Act, any reference in that provision to the commencement of this Act shall be construed as a reference to the time at which that provision comes into operation.
