The Ministry may from time to time make such orders as it thinks expedient [F1 or called for by any F3F5assimilated law or relevant Protocol obligation] for preventing the spread of pests in Northern Ireland [F2 or the conveyance of pests by articles exported from Northern Ireland].

In this section, “relevant Protocol obligation” has the meaning given by section 2(2A).
