A coroner shall have jurisdiction to inquire into the finding of[F1 treasure] in his district and the provisions of this Act (other than provisions relating to post-mortem examinations or to the removal of bodies to mortuaries or morgues) shall, so far as is consistent with the tenor thereof, apply to every such inquest.
