1955 CHAPTER 2

An Act to make provision for the reconveyance of certain property to the Minister of Works; and for purposes connected therewith.

1Provision for reconveyance of Hillsborough Castle.N.I.

(1)None of the provisions of section five of the Stormont Regulation and Government Property Act (Northern Ireland), 1933 M1 (in this Act referred to as “the principal Act”) shall apply to or affect the mansion house known as Hillsborough Castle with the demesne and certain other lands described in the First Schedule to an Indenture made the twenty-fifth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, between the Commissioners of His Majesty's Works and Public Buildings of the one part and the Ministry of Finance (in this Act referred to as “the Ministry”) of the other part (being the hereditaments mentioned in Paragraph 2 of the Schedule to the principal Act).
