PART V N.I. TIMES OF FISHING AND ANCILLARY PROVISIONS

28 Fishing during close seasons. N.I.

If any person—

(a) fishes for, takes, kills or attempts to take or kill salmon or trout [F1 or any other fish of a kind prescribed for the purposes of this section](except with a rod and line), during the annual close season, or

(b) fishes for, takes, kills or attempts to take or kill salmon or trout [F1 or any other fish of a kind prescribed for the purposes of this section] with a rod and line during the annual close season for angling, or

(c) aids or assists in any such act or attempt,

he shall be guilty of an offence against this Act.
