4Operation of Act and saving for Maritime Conventions Act, 1911.N.I.
F1(1)Sections one, two and sub-section (1) of section three of this Act shall apply only where the cause of action accrues after the passing of this ActF2; but sub-sections (4) and (5) of the said section three shall apply whether the cause of action accrued or the proceedings were commenced before or after such passing.
(2)Section two of this Act shall not apply to any case to which[F3 section 187 of the Merchant Shipping Act 1995], applies.
