TheF1 Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment may by order apply to any substance any of the provisions of this Act specified in theF1 order, with such modifications, if any, as may seem toF1 that Department to be desirable having regard to the nature of the substance to which theF1 order relates.

While anyF1 order relating to any substance is in force under this section, the provisions of this Act thereby applied shall have effect as if the substance were included in the definition of petroleum-spirit, but subject to such modifications, if any, as may be provided by theF1 order.

AnyF1 order made under this section may be varied or revoked by any subsequentF1 order.
