Power of entry.N.I.

5(1)An officer duly authorised by a [F1 district council] may, at all reasonable times, enter and inspect any premises which are used, or which such officer has reasonable cause to believe are used, wholly or in part for any purpose to which this Act applies.

(2)Every such officer as aforesaid shall be furnished with a certificate of his authorisation by the [F1 district council] and when visiting any such premises as aforesaid shall, if so required, produce the said certificate to the occupier of the premises.
