[1.] All heretable jurisdictions, &c. in Scotland, the office of high constable excepted, to cease from 25 March 1748. E+W+S

All heretable jurisdictions of justiciary, and all regalities and heretable baillieries, and all heretable constabularies, other than the office of high constable of Scotland, . . . F1 shall be and they are hereby . . . F1 abrogated, taken away, and totally dissolved and extinguished.
