3Change of rules or articles
(1)
Schedule 1 to the 1996 Act is amended as follows.
(2)
In paragraph 9 (change of rules of registered society), for sub-paragraphs (2) to (5) substitute—
“(2)
The registered society must notify the Welsh Ministers of any amendment to its rules (including a change in its registered office or name).
(3)
The reference in sub-paragraph (2) to an amendment to the rules of a society is to be interpreted in accordance with section 149 of the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 (c. 14).”
(3)
In paragraph 11 (change of company articles), for sub-paragraphs (2) to (4) substitute—
“(2)
The company must notify the Welsh Ministers of any change to—
(a)
its name;
(b)
the address of its registered office;
(c)
its articles of association.”
