SCHEDULE 1 E+W CHARGES FOR CARRIER BAGS: CIVIL SANCTIONS

Persons liable to civil sanctions E+W

12 (1) Carrier bag regulations may make provision about the persons who are liable to civil sanctions under the regulations. E+W

(2) The provision that may be made by virtue of this paragraph includes provision for—

(a) the officers of a body corporate to be so liable as well the body corporate itself, and

(b) for the partners of a partnership to be liable as well as the partnership itself,

in such circumstances as may be specified.
