Application for, variation of and cancellation of registration
14Application for cancellation of registration as a service provider

If a service provider applies to the Welsh Ministers for cancellation of the provider’s registration, the Welsh Ministers must grant the application unless they have taken action with a view to cancelling the registration under section 15 or 23.

The Welsh Ministers must give notice of the granting of an application for cancellation under this section to the service provider.

Cancellation under this section takes effect—
a
on the day falling 3 months after the day on which the service provider receives the notice, or
b
such earlier day as the Welsh Ministers may specify in the notice.
