4Determination of whether converted contract is secure contract or standard contract

The landlord under a converted contract may give notice under section 11(2)(b) (notice of standard contract) at any time before the end of the initial notice period.

If the landlord does so, the contract is to be treated as having become a standard contract on the appointed day.

The landlord under a converted contract may give notice under section 17(1) (notice of secure contract) at any time before the end of the initial notice period.

If the landlord does so, the contract is to be treated as having become a secure contract on the appointed day.
