2(1)The validity of an act of an individual as Commissioner is not affected by a defect in the appointment of—E+W
(a)that individual;
(b)any member of the advisory panel.
(2)The validity of an act of a person exercising functions on behalf of the Commissioner is not affected by a defect in the appointment of—
(a)that person;
(b)the Commissioner;
(c)any member of the advisory panel.
