Section 27 (fees) is amended as follows.

In subsection (1), for “The Auditor General for Wales” substitute “The Wales Audit Office”.

In subsection (3), for “the Auditor General for Wales” substitute “the Wales Audit Office, in accordance with a scheme for charging fees prepared under section 24 of the Public Audit (Wales) Act 2013,”.

In subsection (4), for the reference to “the Auditor General” and “the Auditor General for Wales” substitute “the Wales Audit Office”.

After subsection (4) insert—

But a fee charged under this section may not exceed the full cost of exercising the function to which it relates.
