(1)
The Education Act 1997 is amended as follows.
(2)
In section 29 (functions of the Welsh Ministers in relation to curriculum and assessment—
(a)
in subsection (5) in the definition of “maintained school”, omit “or foundation”;
(b)
in subsection (6) omit “or foundation”.
(3)
In section 43(2)(c) (provision of careers education in schools in Wales), omit “or foundation”.
