Provided always and it is hereby enacted That it shall and may bee lawfull to and for any person or persons Natives or Foreigners Bodies Politick or Corporate to advance and lend unto Their Majesties upon X1 security of this Act any su[m]m or su[m]ms of money and to have and receive for the forbearance thereof any su[m]m not exceeding Seven [X2pound] by the Hundred for one whole yeare and [X3noe] more directly or indirectly and that noe money soe lent upon the security of this Act shall bee rated or assessed by virtue of this Act.
