Officers not to strike, &c. any such Tally, &c.
And itt is hereby further enacted That the Commissioners of the Treasury or the Lord Treasurer UnderTreasurer or Commissioners of the Treasury for the tyme being or any of them doe not direct any Warrant to any of the said Collectors or Receivers Generall or theire Deputies for the Payment of any parte of the moneys hereby given to any Person or Persons other then into the Receipt of the Exchequer as aforesaid Nor shall they or any of them direct any Warrant to the Officers of the Exchequer for the strikeing of any Tally of Pro or Tally of Anticipation or doe any other matter or thing whereby to divert the actuall payments of the said moneys into the Receipt of the Exchequer Nor shall the Officers of the Exchequer strike or direct or record the strikeing of any Tally of Pro or Tally of Anticipation upon any of the said moneys upon any Account or Warrant whatsoever Nor shall any Teller throw downe any Bill whereby to charge himselfe with any of the said moneys untill he shall have actually received the same.
