Receiver General 2d. in the Pound. The Collector 3d.
And moreover the said Commissioners or any Three or more of them shall have Power by all Lawfull wayes and meanes without Oath to Examine and inquire into the Value and Substance of such Persons as are soe chargeable by this Act and to sett such Rate or Rates upon every such person or persons as shall be according to the true intent and meaning of this Act And the said Receiver Generall shall have an Allowance of Two pence in the pound for all Moneys which shall be by him Paid into the Receipt of the Exchequer And that every Collector shall have Three pence in the pound for what Money he shall pay to the Receiver Generall his Deputie or Deputies
