XV.Papists and others charged by the said Act with Double Rates to pay 2s. in the Pound additional.
And be it further enacted That every Papist or reputed Papist and every other Person which by the said other Act was or ought to be charged with and made liable to pay unto His Majesty double the Rates and Su[m]ms therein mentioned shall be charged with and shall pay unto His Majesty (over and besides the same) double the Su[m]m or Rate of One Shilling in the Pound given and granted by this Act that is to say the Su[m]m of Two Shillings over and above every Su[m]m of Six Shillings which such Papists reputed Papists or other Persons were charged with or liable to pay by virtue of the said other Act.
