In what Cases Persons so contracting released from their Contracts.
And whereas the Co[m]missioners of His Majesties Treasury or High Treasurer for the time being have or may contract or agree with divers Persons for the advancing or lending Money for the circulating or exchanging such of the Bills of the said One million five hundred thousand Pounds as shall be refused or not accepted or taken att the Excheq[uer] or in any other publick Office for the Satisfaction of Tallies and Orders of Loan in course of Payment from time to time Itt is hereby enacted That the Persons so contracting shall be freed and discharged from their respective Contracts as soon as the whole Su[m]ms by them agreed to be advanced shall be called for and paid by them respectively or so soon as Bills for One million five hundred thousand Pounds principal Money issuable as well by the First recited Act as in pursuance hereof shall be cancelled or that the Funds granted or that may be granted for the Service of the Warr for this present Yeare shall have produced sufficient to take upp and cancell the same Any thing in this Act contained to the contrary thereof notwithstanding.
