2. Recital that the Lanes herein mentioned are in a ruinous and dangerous State; and that the several Parishes were unable of themselves to repair the same.

13. XII. Quarter Sessions for Surrey and Sussex may appoint yearly Three Persons of each County to survey ruinous Lanes, and examine Surveyors' Accounts.
