And be it further enacted by the Authority aforesaid That it shall and may be lawfull to detaine in Custody without Bayl or Maynprize any Person who is or shall before the last day of Trinity Terme One thousand six hundred ninety six bee co[m]mitted upon Information upon Oath against him for High Treason until the First day of December One thousand six hundred ninety six unlesse such Person should bee sooner bailed by Order of Councell signed by six of His Majesties Privy Council Any Law or Statute to the contrary notwithstanding.
