Land Tax Act 1698 (c. 9)

LXXIV. Payment on the same Day of Tally or Order of same Date first, no undue Preference, if entered.

Provided alwaies and be it hereby declared That if it happen that severall Talleys of Loane or Orders for Payment as aforesaid bear Date or be brought the same Day to the Auditor of the Receipt to be registred then it shall be interpreted no undue Preference which of those be entred first soe as he enters them all the same Day
