XXVI.Allowance to Treasurer of Navy, and Lieutenant or Treasurer of Ordnance.
And be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid That the Treasurer of his Majesties Navy for himselfe his Deputies and Clerkes shall receive and retaine only the su[m]m of One penny in the pound and no more and the Leiutennant or Treasurer of his Majesties Ordnance for himselfe and his Clerke shall likewise receive and retaine onely One penny in the pound and no more out of all the moneys raised borrowed and paid unto and issued out by either of them to any person or persons by vertue and in pursuance of this Act to be allowed in theire respective Accompts thereof
