And for the better prevention of Frauds Be it further enacted That all sorts of Strong waters of the first or any other Extraction made in England of English Materials which shall be mingled with Brandy or other Spirits or with any Strong waters imported or Spirits made in England of Wine or Lees of Wine imported shall be deemed and taken for Strong water or Brandy imported and shall pay after the Rate of Twelve [X1pence ] per Quart as aforesaid
