  1. Introductory Text

  2. Reasons for granting to the King a Subsidy.

  3. II.Public Officers taxed in the Monthly. Assessment (Exception) to pay is, in the Pound of the Profits of their Offices.

  4. III.Pensions, &c. from Government to pay 3s. in the Pound.

  5. IV.Serjeants at Law, Counsellors, Advocates, &c. and Persons practicing Physic, to pay 2s. for every 20s.

  18. XVII.Commissioners may appoint Head Collector; whose Receipt shall be a Discharge to Sub-collector.
