Fee for Licence and Security.; Selling, &c. without License.; Penalty.
And be it further enacted by Authoritic aforesaid That from and after the said First day of September noe person or persons shall be permitted to sell, or retaile any Coffee, Chocolate Sherbett or Tea without Licence first obtained and had by Order of the Generall Sessions of the Peace in the [X1severall and respective Countyes Certificate being first shewed that they have given good Security for the X2 payment of their dues to the King,] or the Cheife Magistrate of the place in whose Jurisdiction he or they doe or shall inhabite or dwell for the selling or retailing of the same, nor shall any Licence be granted to any Retailer untill Securitie first given by Recognizance or otherwise, For which License, Recognizance and Securitie Twelve pence shall be given and noe more for the payment of the Excise, And every person or persons selling or retailing any of the said Liquors without License had and Security given as aforesaid shall forfeite and loose the summe of Five pounds for every moneth he or they shall continue selling or retailing the same.
