90.  In section 26(1) (review of cases and inquiries into representations), in the following provisions, for “appropriate national authority” substitute “Secretary of State”— E+W

(f) subsection (5);

(g) subsection (6).

Subsections (1), (5) and (6) of section 26 were amended by the Children and Young Persons Act 2008 (c. 23), Schedule 3, paragraphs 1 and 16; subsections (3A), (3B), and (4A) were inserted into section 26 by the Adoption and Children Act 2002 (c. 38), section 117(2), (4) and (5), and subsection (3C) was inserted by the Health and Social Care (Community Health and Standards Act) 2003 (c. 43), section 117(1).
