A licence under section 1 of the Import of Live Fish (England and Wales) Act 1980(1) authorising a person to keep or release live fish, or the live eggs of fish, which is in force immediately before the coming into force of these Regulations, is to be taken to be a permit under these Regulations authorising the keeping of fish or the introduction of fish into inland waters.
