Cynllun hyfforddi athrawon ar sail cyflogaeth
8.—(1) Caiff Gweinidogion Cymru sefydlu cynllun lle y caiff personau sydd yn gyflogedig neu wedi cael eu cyflogi mewn ysgol neu sefydliad addysgol arall (ac eithrio uned cyfeirio disgyblion(1)) ddod yn athrawon cymwysedig.
(2) Enw cynllun a sefydlwyd o dan baragraff (1) fydd cynllun hyfforddi athrawon ar sail cyflogaeth.
(3) Caiff cynllun o'r fath wneud darpariaeth ar gyfer rhaglen hyfforddiant y mae'n rhaid i bersonau ei gwneud.
(4) Caiff cynllun o'r fath ddarparu bod personau yn cael eu hasesu gan sefydliad achrededig er mwyn penderfynu a ydynt yn bodloni'r safonau penodedig heb gael hyfforddiant pellach.
(5) Rhaid i unrhyw berson neu gorff sy'n arfer swyddogaeth yn rhinwedd y rheoliad hwn ystyried unrhyw ganllawiau a roddir o dro i dro gan Weinidogion Cymru ynglŷn ag arfer y swyddogaeth honno.

Caiff unedau cyfeirio disgyblion eu sefydlu a'u cynnal o dan adran 19 o Ddeddf Addysg 1996 (p.56).
