Amendment of the Public Health Wales National Health Service Trust (Membership and Procedure) Regulations 2009
2.—(1) The Public Health Wales National Health Service Trust (Membership and Procedure) Regulations 2009(1) are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 1(2) (interpretation), omit the definition of “trade union”.
(3) In regulation 5(1) (non-executive directors), omit sub-paragraph (d).
(4) In regulation 10 (termination of tenure of office of chair and non-executive directors), for regulation 10(8), substitute—
“Where the non-executive director referred to in sub-paragraph (c) of regulation 5(1) ceases to be a member or employee of a voluntary sector organisation in Wales, the Welsh Ministers will terminate his or her appointment as non-executive director.”.
(5) In paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 (procedures for appointment of the chair and non-executive directors), for “members” substitute “directors”.
(6) In paragraph 2(2) of Schedule 2 (rules as to meetings and proceedings of the Trust), for “members” substitute “directors”.
