2.—(1) Yn y rheoliadau hyn—
ystyr “y Gyfarwyddeb” (“the Directive”) yw Cyfarwyddeb y Cyngor 2000/29/EC ar fesurau amddiffyn yn erbyn cyflwyno i'r Gymuned organeddau sy'n niweidiol i blanhigion neu i gynhyrchion planhigion ac yn erbyn eu lledaenu o fewn y Gymuned(1); ac
ystyr “oriau gwaith yn ystod y dydd” (“daytime working hours”) yw unrhyw amser rhwng 8.30 a.m. a 5.00 p.m. ar unrhyw ddiwrnod ac eithrio dydd Sadwrn, dydd Sul, Dydd Nadolig, Dydd Gwener y Groglith neu ddiwrnod sy'n ŵyl banc o dan Ddeddf Bancio a Thrafodion Ariannol 1971(2) yng Nghymru.
(2) Mae i'r termau hynny a ddefnyddir yn y Rheoliadau hyn, ac y defnyddir y termau Saesneg sy'n cyfateb iddynt yn y Gyfarwyddeb, yr un ystyron â'r termau cyfatebol Saesneg yn y Gyfarwyddeb.
