Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant — cynghorau cymuned

17.—(1) Mae cynghorau cymunedau presennol Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant (yng nghyn ddosbarth Glyndwr) a Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant (yng nghyn ddosbarth Sir Drefaldwyn) i'w diddymu.

(2) Bydd cyngor ar gyfer cymuned newydd Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant.

(3) Bydd unrhyw berson sydd yn union cyn y diwrnod penodedig mewn swydd fel cynghorydd i gymuned bresennol Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant (yng nghyn ddosbarth Glyndwr) neu gymuned bresennol Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant (yng nghyn ddosbarth Sir Drefaldwyn) yn gynghorydd, ar ac ar ôl y diwrnod penodedig, i gymuned newydd Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant.

(4) O'r pedwerydd diwrnod ar ôl etholiad cyffredin cynghorwyr yn 2008, un ar ddeg fydd nifer cynghorwyr cymuned newydd Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant.

(5) Mae cynghorwyr cymunedol i gymuned newydd Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant i'w hethol ar ddiwrnod etholiad cyffredin cynghorwyr yn 2008. Mae'r personau a etholir i gychwyn ar eu swydd ar y pedwerydd diwrnod ar ôl hynny ac i ymddeol ohoni ar y pedwerydd diwrnod ar ôl etholiad cyffredin cynghorwyr yn 2012.

(6) Mae cyfarfod blynyddol 2008 cyngor cymuned newydd Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant i'w gynnull gan y swyddog a benodwyd i'r perwyl hwnnw gan Gyngor Sir Powys.
