Pryd i daenu gwrtaith

19.—(1) Rhaid i feddiannydd sy'n bwriadu taenu gwrtaith nitrogen ymgymryd yn gyntaf ag arolygiad o'r caeau i ystyried y risg y byddai nitrogen yn mynd i mewn i ddŵr wyneb.

(2) Ni chaiff neb daenu gwrtaith nitrogen ar y tir hwnnw os oes risg sylweddol y byddai nitrogen yn mynd i mewn i ddŵr wyneb, gan gymryd i ystyriaeth yn benodol—

(a)llethr y tir, yn enwedig os yw'r llethr yn fwy na 12°;

(b)unrhyw orchudd tir;

(c)pa mor agos yw'r tir at ddŵr wyneb;

(ch)amodau tywydd;

(d)y math o bridd; ac

(dd)presenoldeb traeniau tir.

(3) Ni chaiff neb daenu gwrtaith nitrogen os yw'r pridd yn llawn dwr, dan ddwr neu wedi'i orchuddio ag eira, neu os yw wedi rhewi drosto am fwy na 12 awr yn ystod y 24 awr flaenorol.
