Title, application and interpretation
1.—(1) The title of this Order is the Children Act 2004 (Commencement No.8) (Wales) Order 2008.
(2) This Order applies in relation to Wales.
(3) In this Order “the Act” (“y Ddeddf”) means the Children Act 2004.
Commencement
2. The following provisions of the Act come into force on 31 July 2008:—
(a)Section 51, (inspection of local education authorities);
(b)Part 1 (so far as not already in force) of Schedule 5 (repeals);
(c)Part 3 of Schedule 5.
