Mae'r Rheoliadau hyn yn diwygio Rheoliadau Cynhyrchion Reis o Unol Daleithiau America (Cyfyngiad ar eu Rhoi Gyntaf ar y Farchnad) (Cymru) 2008 (“y prif Reoliadau”).

Mae'r prif Reoliadau yn rhoi ar waith, o ran Cymru, Benderfyniad y Comisiwn 2006/601/EC ar fesurau argyfwng ynghylch yr organedd a addaswyd yn enetig nas awdurdodwyd “LL RICE 601” mewn cynhyrchion reis (OJ Rhif L244, 7.9.2006, t.27) fel y'i diwygiwyd ddiwethaf gan Benderfyniad y Comisiwn 2008/162/EC sy'n diwygio Penderfyniad 2006/601/EC sy'n ymwneud â mesurau argyfwng ynghylch yr organedd a addaswyd yn enetig nas awdurdodwyd “LL RICE 601” mewn cynhyrchion reis (OJ Rhif L52, 27.2.2008, t.25).

Mae'r Rheoliadau hyn—

(1) yn diwygio rheoliad 2 o'r prif Reoliadau i gywiro gwall teipograffyddol; a

(2) yn diwygio rheoliadau 4 a 5 o'r prif Reoliadau i ddileu geiriau diangen.

Ni pharatowyd asesiad effaith rheoleiddiol mewn perthynas â'r Rheoliadau hyn.
