Mae erthygl 3 o'r Gorchymyn hwn yn gwahardd pysgota am gŵn gleision drwy ddefnyddio unrhyw ddull heblaw gwialen a lein. Caniateir cadw uchafswm o hyd at 45 cilogram mewn pwysau byw o gŵn gleision ar fwrdd cwch mewn diwrnod.
Mae erthygl 4 yn gwahardd trawslwytho cŵn gleision.
Mae erthygl 5 yn gwahardd glanio yng Nghymru gwn gleision a ddaliwyd â gwialen a lein neu gwn gleision y torrwyd eu pennau.
Mae erthygl 6 yn gosod pwerau swyddogion pysgodfeydd môr Prydeinig o ran y Gorchymyn hwn, yn ychwanegol at eu pwerau o dan Ddeddf Pysgod Môr (Cadwraeth) 1967. Rhagnodir sancsiynau troseddol gan adrannau 5(1), 5(7), 6(5), 6(5A) ac 11 o'r Ddeddf honno.
