Mae'r Rheoliadau hyn yn dirymu ac yn disodli Rheoliadau Gwaith Stryd (Ffioedd Arolygu) (Cymru) (Diwygio) 2008 (“Rheoliadau 2008”). Mae Rheoliadau 2008 yn diwygio ymhellach Reoliadau Gwaith Stryd (Ffioedd Arolygu) (Cymru) 2006 (“Rheoliadau 2006”) er mwyn cynyddu'r ffi sy'n daladwy gan ymgymerwyr am arolygiadau o'u gwaith gan awdurdodau stryd yng Nghymru o dan reoliad 3 o Reoliadau 2006.
Y ffi a ragnodwyd yn wreiddiol yn Rheoliadau 2006 oedd £21. Newidiwyd y ffi i £24 ym Mehefin 2007 gan Reoliadau Gwaith Stryd (Ffioedd Arolygu) (Cymru) (Diwygio) 2007 (O.S. 2007 Rhif 1713 (Cy150)), ac yn awr fe'i cynyddir i £25.
