Y gofynion cychwynnol pan wyddys neu pan amheuir bod y tafod glas yn bresennol
8.—(1) Rhaid i berchennog neu geidwad unrhyw anifail neu garcas, neu unrhyw berson sy'n archwilio neu'n arolygu unrhyw anifail neu garcas, ac sy'n gwybod neu'n amau bod yr anifail neu'r carcas hwnnw wedi'i heintio â'r tafod glas—
(a)hysbysu'r Rheolwr Milfeddygol Rhanbarthol ar unwaith; a
(b)peidio â symud unrhyw anifail neu garcas i'r fangre neu o'r fangre lle y gwyddys bod yr anifail neu'r carcas, y mae'n hysbys neu yr amheuir ei fod wedi'i heintio, wedi'i leoli, ac eithrio yn ôl awdurdodiad arolygwr.
(2) Rhaid i unrhyw berson sy'n dadansoddi sampl a gymerwyd o unrhyw anifail neu garcas ac sy'n dod o hyd i dystiolaeth o wrthgorffynnau i feirws y tafod glas, neu antigenau neu asidau niwclëig ohono, neu unrhyw dystiolaeth o frechu ar gyfer y tafod glas, hysbysu'r Rheolwr Milfeddygol Rhanbarthol ar unwaith.
(3) Ystyr “Rheolwr Milfeddygol Rhanbarthol” (“Divisional Veterinary Manager”) yw'r arolygydd milfeddygol a benodwyd gan Weinidogion Cymru i gael gwybodaeth am anifeiliaid neu garcasau a'r clefyd arnynt neu yr amheuir bod y clefyd arnynt ar gyfer yr ardal lle mae'r anifeiliaid neu'r carcasau hynny.
