Mae'r Ddeddf Gwahaniaethu ar sail Anabledd 2005 (“y Ddeddf”) yn diwygio'n helaeth Ddeddf Gwahaniaethu ar sail Anabledd 1995 (“Deddf 1995”), a gwneud darpariaethau penodol eraill.
Mae erthygl 2 yn dwyn i rym “ddarpariaethau bathodyn glas” y Ddeddf, y mae ei rhychwant yn gyfyngedig i Gymru a Lloegr (adran 20(8)), o ran Cymru yn unig. Dyma yw darpariaethau'r bathodyn glas: adran 9, Rhan 2 o Atodlen 1, cofnodion penodol yn Atodlen 2 ac adran 19 i'r graddau y mae'n ymwneud â'r darpariaethau hynny yn yr Atodlenni hynny (adran 20(10)).
