Monitoring wild animals
7. If the Welsh Ministers prepare a programme for the monitoring of zoonoses or zoonotic agents in wild animals that includes the taking of any sample from a live wild animal or any egg or sample from the temporary or permanent resting place or nest of a wild animal, they must consult the Countryside Council for Wales before monitoring commences.
