5.  Rhaid rhoi'r driniaeth gan ddefnyddio offeryn addas, ac ar—

(a)y big isaf a'r big uchaf fel ei gilydd, heb fwy na thraean wedi'i dynnu, neu

(b)y big uchaf yn unig, heb fwy na thraean wedi'i dynnu.

Rhaid atal unrhyw waedlif sy'n dod o'r big yn sgil hynny drwy ei serio.

  • Ar ddofednod y bwriedir iddynt fod yn ieir dodwy ac a gedwir mewn sefydliadau gyda 350 neu ragor o ieir dodwy, ni chaniateir i'r driniaeth—

    (i)

    ond gael ei rhoi er mwyn atal pigo plu neu ganibaliaeth;

    (ii)

    ond gael ei rhoi cyn 1 Ionawr 2011;

    (iii)

    gael ei rhoi i ddofednod y bwriedir iddynt fod yn ieir dodwy (neu sy'n ieir dodwy) ac sy'n 10 niwrnod oed neu'n hyn.
