Transitional provisions: Road Traffic Regulation Act 19849

The amendments made to the 1984 Act by—
a
section 15 (which amends section 99 of the 1984 Act);
b
section 16 (which amends section 101 of the 1984 Act);
c
section 17 (which amends section 103 of the 1984 Act),
of the 2005 Act do not affect the operation of sections 99, 101 and 103 of the 1984 Act in relation to a vehicle to which paragraph (2) applies.

This paragraph applies to a vehicle—
a
on a road in relation to which an authority has, before 27 October 2006, given a notice under section 99(3) of the 1984 Act;
b
to which an authority has, before 27 October 2006, affixed a notice under section 99(4) of that Act.
