Amendment to the Animal and Animal Products (Import and Export) (Wales) Regulations 2006
2.—(1) The Animals and Animal Products (Import and Export) (Wales) Regulations 2006(1) are amended in accordance with this regulation.
(2) In regulation 1(3)—
(a)in the definition of “Council Directive 90/425/EEC” for “paragraph 4(a)” substitute “paragraph 5(a)”; and
(b)in the definition of “Council Directive 91/496/EEC” for “paragraph 4(b)”, substitute “paragraph 5(b)”.
(3) In regulation 16(4), for “1st August 2006”, substitute “1 January 2007”.
(4) In regulation 19(9), after “an inspector” add “in the case of sub-paragraphs (a) and (b), and a veterinary inspector in the case of sub-paragraph (c)”.
(5) In regulation 21(3), for “the veterinarian inspector”, substitute “the veterinary inspector”.
(6) In regulation 22(6), delete “22 or”.
(7) In regulation 28(2) for “paragraph 28”, substitute “paragraph (1)”.
(8) In regulation 35(1), after “Part IV” and before “of”, insert “ of Schedule 8 to ”.
