In rule K1 (cancellation of ill-health and injury pensions)—
a
in paragraph (1)—
i
for “fire authority”, substitute “fire and rescue authority”; and
ii
in sub-paragraph (c), for “could not have been required to retire on account of age”, substitute “would not have attained normal pension age”;
b
in paragraph (2), for “The fire authority”, substitute “The fire and rescue authority”; and
c
in paragraph (4)—
i
for “service in the brigade”, substitute “employment with the fire and rescue authority”; and
ii
for sub-paragraph (a), substitute—
a
the fire and rescue authority shall permit him to resume service forthwith in a role at a level equivalent to, or higher than, that which he had when he retired with the pension, and
