The General Teaching Council for Wales (Functions) (Amendment) Regulations 2005

Name and commencement

1.  These Regulations are called the General Teaching Council for Wales (Functions) (Amendment) Regulations 2005 and come into force on 21 January 2005.

Amendment of the General Teaching Council for Wales (Functions) Regulations 2000

2.  The General Teaching Council for Wales (Functions) Regulations 2000(1) are amended as follows.

3.  In Schedule 1 —

(a)substitute for paragraph 13 the following —

13.  If known,

(a)the date on which the teacher took up his or her first post as a qualified teacher;

(b)the date on which the teacher was first employed (if at all) as a supply teacher under paragraph 4 of Schedule 1 to the Education (Induction Arrangements for School Teachers) (Wales) Regulations 2003(2); and

(c)the date on which the teacher was first employed (if at all) as a supply teacher by virtue of regulation 18(2)(3) of the Education (Induction Arrangements for School Teachers) (Wales) Regulations 2003.; and

(b)omit paragraph 14(e) and the preceding “and”.

4.  In Schedule 2 —

(a)substitute for paragraph 5 the following —

5.  If known,

(a)the date on which the teacher took up his or her first post as a qualified teacher;

(b)the date on which the teacher was first employed (if at all) as a supply teacher under paragraph 4 of Schedule 1 to the Education (Induction Arrangements for School Teachers) (Wales) Regulations 2003; and

(c)the date on which the teacher was first employed (if at all) as a supply teacher by virtue of regulation 18(2) of the Education (Induction Arrangements for School Teachers) (Wales) Regulations 2003.; and

(b)omit paragraph 6(e) and the preceding “and”.
