Er gwaethaf y ffaith bod adran 20(1) o Ddeddf 2002 wedi dod i rym a bod adran 37(1) o Ddeddf 1998 ac Atodlen 12 iddi(1) wedi'u diddymu, mae holl offerynnau llywodraethu ysgolion a gynhelir i aros mewn grym hyd nes bod offeryn llywodraethu newydd a wneir yn unol â Rheoliadau Llywodraethu Ysgolion a Gynhelir (Cymru) 2005(2) yn cymryd eu lle.

Daw adran 20(1) o Ddeddf 2002 i rym ar 31 Hydref 2005, a diddymir adran 37(1) o Ddeddf 1998 ac Atodlen 12 iddi gan adran 215(2) o Ddeddf 2002, a Rhan 3 o Atodlen 22 iddi, ar 31 Hydref 2005, yn rhinwedd O.S. 2005/2910 (Cy.207) (C.124).
