Noddwr-lywodraethwyr dros dro

18.—(1) “Noddwr-lywodraethwr dros dro” yw person sydd wedi'i benodi'n aelod o gorff llywodraethu dros dro ysgol newydd yn unol â pharagraff (3).

(2) Ystyr “noddwr” mewn perthynas ag ysgol yw:

(a)person sy'n rhoi neu sydd wedi rhoi cymorth ariannol sylweddol (sydd at y dibenion hyn yn cynnwys buddion mewn da) i'r ysgol heblaw yn unol â rhwymedigaeth statudol; neu

(b)unrhyw berson arall (nad yw fel arall wedi'i gynrychioli ar y corff llywodraethu) sy'n rhoi neu sydd wedi rhoi gwasanaethau sylweddol i'r ysgol.

(3) Os oes gan ysgol newydd un neu fwy o noddwyr, caiff y corff llywodraethu dros dro benodi un neu ddau o noddwr-lywodraethwyr dros dro, wedi'u henwebu yn unol â pharagraff (4).

(4) Os yw'r corff llywodraethu dros dro yn bwriadu penodi noddwr-lywodraethwyr dros dro, rhaid iddo ofyn am enwebiadau ar gyfer y penodiadau hynny gan noddwr yr ysgol neu, yn ôl fel y digwydd, gan un neu fwy o noddwyr yr ysgol.
